:whats the latest on your car?Yup, ATS makes a very nice LSD and it is similar in price to the Cusco. Right around $1000. I have a friend that has the ATS 2-way on his Toyota Chaser. It locks up hard, its very quiet, and it skips the tires in tight turns. I am leaning more towards the Cusco 1.5 way but I might try the ATS. Been thinking of the Quaife too. Due to the new baby, the car has been on the back burner for a quite a while. A few of the obstacles were overcome recently though. I had to get a custom headgasket made which was no easy task. After talking with SCE, they cut me a custom gasket with no water jacket holes - we'll be cutting them here. Tial 44mm wastegates were on backorder for 4 months. 1000cc top feed injectors from Precision should arrive soon. Just ordered an ARP headstud set from SGP. All in all things have been comming together nicely in the last month.
This summer with everything on backorder and zero progress on the Z, I was spearfishing a lot. It was nuts. I am getting my scuba license now. $200 for the full class with equipment rental and books included. Ocean was 77degs last week - didn't even need a wet suit. It's been a great year. So how about your car? You should be going for some low 10's or 9's next year right?
